The climate is tropical and there are only three seasons, one of which is characterized by the monsoon rains. From November till February it is warm and dry with temperatures between 20 and 30°C and an average humidity of 50%. The hot season lasts from February till May, when average temperatures reach 26 to 34°C with 75% humidity. Sometimes a shower cools things down a bit. The rainy season extends from June to October when temperatures range between 25 and 32°C.
